A location that will inspire
Our beautiful hotel, formerly a 17th century farmhouse on the Dawnay estate which was founded in 1656 is just a 10 minute drive from Scarborough Train station. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful walks, why not walk through Hutton Buscel or walk through Wykeham village.
The 128 bus runs from Scarborough to Pickering and stops just outside of the front door of the hotel offering endless possibilities of places to visit.

We are close to North Yorkshire water park, why not give the inflatables a go! If you don’t fancy that we are just 25 minutes from Helmsley and 40 minutes from York, perfect for a day of shopping or exploring some beautiful towns.
We also are the perfect base for shooting on Wykeham estate or golfing at one of the may courses in the area.
