The Downe Arms Hotel is a private, family run business situated on the Dawnay Estate in the lovely village of Wykeham. Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors national park, the Downe Arms is just 10 minutes from Scarborough and 15 minutes from Pickering.
Our location along with having a bar and restaurant, 2 function rooms and accommodation makes us the perfect base to spend time exploring the local areas or for having a relaxing visit.

Accommodation
We have 12 beautiful en-suite bedrooms varying from singles, doubles, superiors, and family rooms. 2 of our standard double bedrooms are also dog friendly. They have all you need for a comfortable stay and we are more than happy to help with additional extras such as arranging flowers for that special occasion. All our rates include breakfast and we also have some great offers available throughout the year, please do contact us for more information.
Stayed midweek on the 3 for 2 offer. Really impressed, the hotel was lovely and clean and felt very safe. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of options. Evening meals in the restaurant were outstanding. We will be returning.
Weddings
The Downe Arms is a very popular wedding venue within the Scarborough area and offers spaces for civil ceremonies, reception and wedding breakfast meaning your whole day can be celebrated in one beautiful venue. However, if you would prefer a church ceremony, we are next door to the beautiful All Saints Church of Wykeham
